Hello World!
Hi! My name is Vincent Siao. I'm a Sophomore studying Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. My main interests are in programming and its intersection with design. This past summer I helped create schedule+, a schedule-sharing application for CMU students. Check it out!
I'm currently a TA for 15-210 (Parallel and Sequential Data Structures and Algorithms). Here are some of the courses I'm taking concurrently:
- 15-410 Operating System Design and Implementation
- 15-359 Probability and Computing
Some other courses I've taken previously:
- 15-251 Great Theoretical Ideas in Computer Science
- 15-396 Science of the Web
- 21-301 Combinatorics
- 85-211 Cognitive Psychology
I'm also a huge fan of the Vancouver Canucks.
Yes, I do like orange. Didn't you know?
Here's some stuff.
Recent Projects
Over the summer, I worked with Adam Weis and Jason MacDonald to create schedule+. I also developed a new visual identity for ACM@CMU in the form of a new logo and website, as well as themed posters to match. Check out some of my previous design and web-related work below:
